Now as the pack tools and stuff have been available for a while I think we all need to get a grip of the situation. The community seems to be flooding with enthusiasm and a few ideas for stories have already been presented.
What I wish to say, that MR already mentioned, is that there's no way this community will be able to spit out a lot of mods just like that. A mod needs LOTS of work, where coding is an important part. Unfortunately the Outcast community is very small now compared to those of other games and a mod needs people. I'm not at all an expert but I'd say at least 10-15 people are needed. Even lots of people are sometimes not enough. Look at the Max Payne community for example. When the game was released there were thousands of fans who started quite a few mods. Now, more than a year later, they're all cancelled. To be realistic, to be able to accomplish anything we need to cooperate and focus on creating ONE mod. The Outcast community just doesn't have resources for more.
I'm not saying that you people (like Ash and Oliver) should just throw away your ideas in favour of someone who started earlier. No, instead I think all that are willing to work on a mod in any way should get together, at warthogs chat for example to discuss which story to use. And even if your story isn't picked there's probably need for more than one writer.
This whole community seems a bit chaotic at the moment. I don't think anybody knows what the other people are up to or what role they might have in creating a mod.
That's why I now present this thread as a list. Everyone who can help on any Outcast mod, sign here and tell what you’re good at, what you could do.

Myself, I'm a visual artist.
I can do concept art and illustrations,
Maybe textures,
Possibly simple modelling, (not animation though)
I could also help with the story if it's needed.

Now post on people. Let’s see how many may contribute to a mod. Let's see if there's any realistic chance of succeeding with one.
