Outcast + music

My outcast disk 2 is damaged. :(
I have downloaded an ISO file of disk 2, but the soundtrack wasn't included.
I downloaded the mp3 soundtrack from outcastii.net, and i wonder if it is possible to use this as soundtrack in the game. Is it?

well, I don't think it's possible, but i'd try to create an audio/data cd with the files you downloaded
but i think that it won't work

Anyways, you could play the music with Windows Media Player in the background...but it won't react to the game.
You can find Outcast for pretty cheap on Ebay. That's probably the only way to get another working CD.
