2 weird problems

Hi,

I have started playing the game (and piece of art) most dear to me again - outcast.

This time I wanted to complete it all, i.e. every little thing i didn't get before, to see it all now, and to spend time on it, appreciating it - for instance i never managed to complete the side quest with the gorgor tooth, now i have.

Enfuriatingly though, I have been artificially barred by the game from getting 100% side quest completion, because for some reason the quest with Zidar's friend being taking to the Darosham is randomly impossible - when i turned up to the Darosham there was only 2 guys there (there should be 4) and neither of them were his friend. So now that quest will remain unfinished. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone know how it happens and how to stop it?

Secondly, i just arrived in Motazaar and the music is drowned in an annoying and incredibly loud constant noise - sounds kinda like a machine breaking, like 'ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta' - i thought maybe this was one of those problems from having to new a PC, but i've played Outcast on this PC before and never got that problem. Can anyone help?

I don't know anything about the sound problem but i got the problem with the darosham. I just guess they went into the flame and died :S I was waiting "little too long" when i was going to do that quest.

But i don't know if that's the reason.

the march into the flame moves pretty quickly. you can't afford to dawdle.
