I think most of u all know Fan Fiction. For those of you who don't: fan fiction are stories about a tv-series, game,... written by fans, which usually go deeper into certain elements of the story of the tv-series,...
I was thinking, maybe we should write one of our own about OC.
This doesn't really have to be hard, if u do it like this: somebody writes a few lines, and the person who posts next, continues the story.
To make it easy for u all, I'll start.

*Night sat on the region of Talanzaar. Shops closed and torches where lit. A few talan were still on the streets, mostly merchants returning home from a hard day of work. Sorak watched the streets from the old city walls. It had been some time now since Cutter Slade left Adelpha, and the world was slowly recovering from the Reign of Fae Rahn and the revolt. After the revolt, the Dolotaï Guardians had taken a different role in Adelpha. Now they were keeping up the law, fighting of predators and were the guard of the Shamaz. The Shamaz had formed a council, which now ruled Adelpha in a good and lawful way. As Sorak, the newest addition to the Guardians continued his petrol, he suddenly noticed he was being followed...*

Continuing the story:

"...He looked back, but didn't see anything other than some leafs falling onto the ground. He continued his patrol, but still had this suspicious feeling. He looked back again, and noticed a black figure quickly hiding behind some rocks. He pulled his weapon, and yelled to come out. The black figure appeared to be a frightened little child with clothes obvious from the Okasankaar region. The child was his little brother, Karos, and asked his brother what he was doing. Sorak replied..."

*that he was on patrol. He told his little brother that he shouldn't be out this late; the remains of Fae Rahn's army were still out there, and there was no telling what they would be up to. Sorak asked Karos what he was doing here. Karos replied, meanwhile almost bursting into tears, that their father had dissapeared. Sorak startled and told Karos to go back to Okasankaar at once. He would soon follow as soon as he had told Jan, his superior, that he would go on a quest to find his father. Karos ran off, and Sorak entered the old barracks, which was now in use by the Dolotaï Guardians...*

On popular demand (happy now OCfreak?)

*When he stepped in, he saw that a few Guardians were walking around. They were returning from a hard day of work. On the roof of the barracks stood Jan, staring at the city, deep immersed into thoughts. Sorak climbed the stairs and moved up to Jan.
- U have not yet continued your patrol, Sorak.
- I know sir. I just received some very disturbing information
- What is it?
- My father has gone missing. I must go to Okasankaar and look for him.
- I see.
- I will return at the earliest opportunity, sir.
- U better [lut]

And so Sorak left for Okasankaar. When he stepped through the Daoka, there was suddenly a bright flash. He heard a strange, dreamy voice. He was flying into a white emptiness. For a moment, Sorak thought he had died, until the voice spoke to him. It said:*

(No, I does not say: "I am your father" OCfreak [loll] )

*"...Sorak? Sorak?! Are you alright?" Sorak woke up. It was all a dream. His brother, his father that had dissapeared... None of it was true... But why did he have this dream? It could mean something. Sorak looked out of the window, trying to figure out where he was. "Sorak? What's the matter big brother?" Sorak looked at his little brother, Karos. He obviously looked scared. "Nothing. But why do you look this scared?" Karos started sweating enormously, and replied "I can't tell, brother."...*

*"I had a strange dream. Do u know where father is?"
"Yes, he left to fish some time ago. Why?"
"I really have to talk to him."
"About your dream?"
"Possibly. Do u know where I can find him?"
"Mmh, u should go down to the docks. I'm sure the harbormaster knows where father has gone"
"I will. Thank u Karos"

And so Sorak left for the harbor. While passing the lighthouse, he noticed that the light had gone. The light had never gone away since that the Ulukai fixed the lighthouse, but Sorak didn't pay too much attention to it. He was deeply immersed into thoughts, trying to figure out what his dream could have ment
When he arrived at the harbor...*

*.. he saw his father sitting there, staring at something in his hands. When he came closer, his father suddenly turned, looking bewilderd.
"What do you want!" he said with an unusual, risping voice.
"I wanted to talk to you about a dream I.."
"I'm not in the mood for talking. Labta!"
"But father, it.."
"I said go!" and while saying this he stood up. Wanting to hit his son he opened his hands, which caused the object in his hands to fall into the water.
"Néééé!"
He dove into the water trying to retrieve his lost treasure, but from behind a rock, a school of sannegta appeared..*

Just for the record: there is never night on Adelpha (except on Né Seyat) and what's a child doing in Okasankaar? Isn't he supposed to be on Rizaar?

*Talan were screaming at Sorak's father to get out of the water, but he just kept on reaching for whatever was in his hands. Sorak finally lept into the water, and dragged his father back behind the barrier of Gorgor zort. But his father kept on struggling to break free of Sorak's hold and swim back to the...thing. Fortunatly, a nearby Guardian quickly shot a sleep dart at Sorak's father, which enabled the Talan on the shore to pull the father and the exhausted Sorak out of the water.
Back on the shore, Sorak looked over his shoulder to the place where the object had fallen in the water. The thing was gone, probably swept around by the current. What could have possessed his father to jump into Saneggta infested water? What could be so important that he would risk his essence for it?
The images of his dream came back to him. Jan, his brother, the Guardians, Okriana, and the darkness in the sky. What could it mean? The last time there had been Né Seyat, it was the moon that Fae Rahn arrived. A dark moon indeed. But that was thousands of moons ago.
Meanwhile the crowd of Talan had dispersed. A talan took his father up the houses of Cyana. To the Shamaz.
The Shamaz. They would mean what his dream ment. Sorak decided that tomorrow he would go to Okriana and visit Shamaz Zokrace. Shamaz Zokrace had been a friend of his father, and he would surely help him.
Okriana. Sorak had never been to Okriana before. He only heard stories about Okriana, saying that it is the most beautiful and the largest city in Adelpha. Yes, tomorrow he would go. But first, there was something he had to do...*

The little brother then must just be a younger brother, who has only just been to the essence stone. Or, option 2, there has been an uprising/revolution on Kizaar, but in that case we'd best save that for another story I think.

*"Sankaar né bite tonight!"
"Mae jinat! Yo labta kez máde, we make a better chance of catching something with only one boat in the water!"
"You're right. Haomé!"
"Haomé!"
Sema didn't really like leaving him to fish all alone, but as he was bored to death he didn't care so much anymore. He was glad to finally be able to do something a bit more exciting than sitting in a boat, staring at the water. As he peddled home, he suddenly felt the boat shaking a bit. He looked at the water, and to his surprise there suddenly were waves. But how could that be? There hasn't been a breeze all day!
"Néééé!" He heard from the distance.
"What was that?!"
He started peddling a bit harder and as he did he heard a crowd screaming louder and louder. But then the noise started to quiet out and as it did, the waves also got larger and larger. Then he knew what it was. It must be a school of sannegta! He hadn't seen one all day so they must have been here. But as soon as he got that he felt a big bang from under his boat. They were here already! And realising that, another bang made the boat flip over..
As he had fallen into the suddenly sannegta infested water he started to panic. I'm going to die now! Sannegta were everywere, but strangely, not one had bitten him yet. Finally, all had passed and without a scratch he was able to swim, an ability they had copyed from the Ulukaï, to the surface to catch some breath and climb back into the boat. Back in the boat he saw one last sannegta coming, swimming very slow, almost looking relaxed or content or something.. very unlike the eternal hunters. He quickly threw out his net trying to catch it and to Sema's surprise it just swam right into it. He hailed the net back into the boat and resumed his trip back home, still full of adrenaline and a bit more content, having caught at least one fish. He took a peek at it and when he did it looked like he was still moving.. What was this? Sannegta don't live this long out of the water! He decided to stop the boat and take a better look, to realise the shark was still very much alive; it looked strait at him...*

Due to the exams, I won't be around for about 3 weeks, just to let u know...

***Sorak went to the leader of Cyana. He lived in a small house near the top of Cyana, so it was quite a climb. When he got there, he saw that the leader was standing on a balcony, looking at the other Talan doing there business.
-Good moon to you, Partei.
-Ah good moon to you Sorak. What brings you all the way up here?
-I've noticed that the light of the lighthouse has gone out. What happened?
-Oh, nothing to worry about Sorak. I've shut it down myself. A helidium carver from Okriana is going to arrive soon, and he will give the light a good cleaning.
-Oh. Alright then. I was just wondering.
-Alright. Go now Sorak, I have a lot of work to do.
-Goodbye Partei.
And so Sorak went back to the stairs and started preparing for the trip to Okriana...***

*But something felt strange. Why would Partei have shut down the light in advance? A lot of boats where still on the water, they might not be able to find their way back to the harbor and get lost on the water. But it was time to go. He stepped through the Daoka, imidiatly ariving in Okriana. Sorak felt the warm son on his shoulders, and a breeze was in the air. He walked into the city, and was suddenly overwhelmed by a feeling of helplesness. Okriana was even bigger than he thought. How would he be able to move around without getting lost at every turn? He decided it would be best if he moved to the big building in the center of the city. It looked important. The Shamaz were sure to be around there.
Suddenly, he saw a Talan running into an alley. A few moments later, another talan arrived, screaming: "THIEF, THIEF"!!!*

At last...at last...

*Sorak immidiatly joined the pursuit of the thief. A few moments later he was already closing in on the thief, and the Talan who was chasing him in the first place was way behind. Well, he was one of those fat merchant Talan, so can you blame him?
Finally Sorak was close enough. He took a great leap and tackled the thief. When he got up, he pulled the thief up and asked "alright, you better have a good explanation for this. What have you stolen? And why?". The thief begged to Sorak to let him go. He said he needed the money to buy food. He was once a soldier of Fae Rahn, but now he was out of a job. And no job means no zorkins. And no zorkins, means no food. The thief made the (right) assumption that the merchants have plenty of zorkins, and that they wouldn't be harmed by a few of them missing.
Sorak asked the thief why he hadn't joined the Dolotaï Guardians. "Because I was once an Elite Guard of Fae Rahn. The Guardians hate me, so it's impossible for me to join them. Please sir, if you let me go, I swear I will return the favor one day.
Glaucus always keeps his word."
Finally, Sorak decided to let him go. He stepped back to the main street and told the Guardians who were arriving to investigate the crime that he had pursuit the thief for a while, but that he had lost him."

***Suddenly, a great blue-white beam came from the sky and blew the remains of Okriana to smithereens. I really should play more C&C: Renegade. Right, MR? [:p] ***
