Resolution - Upping the resolution

Hi all Outcast fans.

Just found this forum. What an amazing game it is.

Just reinstalled on my new 1.4Ghz PC and want to take advantage of all that horse power by upping the resolution.

I did this last time I played the game by editing the ini files somehow. I think I found out how to do it on outcastcentral.com, but this appears to have turned into a porn site!

Tried setting the res in loader.ini, but it just resets itself to 512x384 or similar.
Tried setting the res in ALL the various config.ini's, and selecting one of the configs from the setup dialog.
No joy.

I know this is possible 'cus I used to run it in a higher res on my old PIII 500, just can't remember how to do it.

Well try the loader programmed by the fabulous jfrey on the right menu at this address: http://www.outcastii.net/eng/index_eng.php. It's called Outcast loader +.

Besides I think that other members of the English forum did a loader too...
