In Okaar
I fought the acronchichonker monster, and after I had killed it, the relic somehow appeared cleaned. So I picked it up along with the pipe and left. However, I died a little while after, and had to reload, and fight the monster again. This time, and the twenty times afterwards that i attempted to have the relic cleaned, it did nothing.
Even with direct hits from both kinds of the monster's fire, the explosive and the flame. I really did try twenty times after that, and then quit.

Any idea why the relic isn't being cleaned? Is there something that happened by chance the first time that i was unaware of?

But as in every matter of life : the first time is the good one; you don't know why, but it's there ... Just enjoy it ... [;)]

Anyway ... If you want to clean it up again, use the flame-thrower as skemeth said ...

Flamethrower didn't work before either, nothing was working -

but I loaded it up again later and let the monster breathe on it for 10 minutes without having myself crisped, and it worked that time.
Completed it about half an hour ago.
Hmm, but I must have missed some bonus quests. I could not return to zorkatraz, even though i tried swimming several times - to show the prisoner his father's gorgor tooth.
Wasn't that fish merchant supposed to make some repellant if i brought him some zort?
I sold him all the zort there was, but he never mentioned it further.

I shall have to complete it again i suppose.

Don't worry about the gorgor tooth, this quest is a "ghost" quest: the quest has been disabled by appeal for an unknown reason...some say it is because the studios who made the voice (except the french one) ran out of time and couldn't finish the voices for this quest...so they disabled it..but if you modify some files, you can play it...in french [:D]

The Gogor tooth quest does't work in english version ?? [confused]

When you ask Zafar for the booyats, you must refuse to give him money. Then he will mistake and give you the information for free (plus the ability to give Martigar the tooth). [;)]

i didn't give him the money, and he made a mistake and told me where the booyat is for free

but i think i can only do the gorgor's tooth quest if i take it with me on the boat to zorkatraz the first time
but i collected the booyat after i had been to the prison and there was not an option to return there

is there a way to make him give you the fish repellant mixture?
he does say he can make it for you if you bring him some things

oh, or is that what you meant? hmm
i shall have a look

i didn't manage to have the ripper program extracting, must i put in the command
lines also?

i don't remember a gamor bone quest either
heheeh i must have missed a lot, though i spent a lot of time looking everywhere and talking to everyone i found.
i finished on 103% 83% and i missed out three bonus quests that i knew of, i didn't get around to doing them before the end part

The gamor bones quest, is that the one about Zelb?

It's listed in the outcast.ini but there's no way of completing it since Zelb disappears after you rescue Marion from Okriana

The other thing is, this gorgor tooth

Who u supposed to give it to, Martigar is singularly uninterested in it, there's no opportunity for conversation regarding it. I thought meybe the dead talan could be Yagu and Ezaf's father, cos Ezef mentions the last time he heard, their father had been included in a work crew that had been taken to Okasankaar

If the father had got ill they coulda taken him to the Doarosham
