Hi everyone, I'm Sylvester and you have no idea how glad I am to finally find some sign of Outcast related actvities on the net, to bad what seem to happened with the sequel though...

Now, to the question I have. Why did all the Talans suddenly start to hate me? Is this a part of the story or did I do something wrong?
Every time I asked a Shamaz about my reputation before they always answered that I could not be doing any better, but then, all of a sudden after I had destroyed the lift machine in Motazaar they all started to hate me, and still after I apologized and solved things all the people still hate me, even though I have saved 2 shamaz after that...

I don't know, when I destroyed the machine, the only talan who get angry was the owner, so I don't know what happened with it [nooo]

You might have accidently shot a Talan... or, like in my case, a Shamaz [B)]

Well I might have accidentially gunned down a talan or two in some city battle with the evil dudes but hey don't they accept that kind of behavior? Now, how do I repair that... Whenever I ask something all I get for an answer is "Go away, you're not Ulukai."

Do all the Talan say your not the Ulukai, or just a few?
All I could suggest is that you try to do some sub-quests for other Talan and get your reputation up, provided they speak to you in the first place.

Yeah, I'm working on the sub quests, but it's hard to find the guys in Talanzaar when no Talan will help me locate them...
Also when I ask any shamaz about my reputation they answer like "You're not doing the worst you can, but close." or something like it.

I just thought of something. It may not seem easy, but a surefire way of making the Talan like you is to find a Mon. The one in Okaar will be easier for you (I think) because there is not many Talan to help there. The ones who need help like the Shamaz will be glad you helped them. [moder]
