Hey all,

Want to run OutCast in 640x480 so need the loader+ but I can't seem to download it. Get a permission denied. Anyone know what's up or got an alternative source?

No idea, but if I were you, I wouldn't use it. Playing outcast 640x480 gives many problems.... [ouin]

hi,
im archiving my old stuff to dvd and id like to include everything needed with the cd images.
i was very happy to find this page but i cant download anything from your ftp, i get "530 permission denied". links are ok i guess, its something with permissions, or so i think.
i searched the net for outcast goodies for 2 and a half hours now but it seems that you are the last source (what a shame, what a wonderful game! 8( ).
plz, if you could look into this, i really need those files...

Hello ... this is my first post, and I also have the problem that I cannot download the loader. Could somebody please give me an updated URL to it, or send it to j@mmet.net ?

That would be very helpful. I've been trying to play this game for years and right now Windows 2000 is stopping me. I've got the German game version.

I can install the game just fine, I even downloaded a 12 MB file called OutcastPatch.exe ... (12109478 bytes big, should be latest version, right?).

No matter wether I try the default install or patched install - when I double click the icon to launch the game nothing happens! Nothing at all. Something loads, but just for a very short moment.

Maybe another loader can help this. =/ I don't know what else to do, it is too frustrating for me to retry this 10 times over just to see if it works by accident. As great as the game would seem to be, the design for compatiblity is bad.

Please help me!
