I don't want to sound picky, but how can they put on pre order a game which has been cancelled so far? Looks like a order they put a while ago and never bother to check it back. But I could be wrong

This date is quite strange.

When TLP was on the way, the release date was around october 2002.

So, June 2003, where does it come from ?

I think also it's a mistake. But, if they have 3500 pre-order (the number of
signature on the petition), what will they do :)

Maybe something like ... ignore the pre-orders and tell the 3500 persons that it was one big mistake?
Just speculating of course ....

What's stranger to is that they call the genre ""Strategie". It might be a bit strange that you can pre order it but I don't think it means anything

Hey all. I emailed chips and bits about this, and heres what they had to say:
Dear Sir,

The license for this game was picked up by another producer and so still may come out sometime in the late summer. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

Regards,

Bill Brilmayer

I thought that the company was elsewhere but they said project alpha wasn't TLP.
Does anyone know what Producer picked it up? Or is it just someone in elsewhere?

If it's not a Joke, it's a BIG surprise ! Very good surprise !

But , can we really hope ?
Does "Another producer" mean an other developper ?
If the licence has been bought, how much money leaves to developpement ?
If other people work on TLP, will the soul of Outcast remain intact ?

Whatever, I will buy TLP as soon as I can (but no pre order :)

Well, I think 'producing' the rest of the game will do the trick as most of the core design has already been 'developped'.. at least, that's how I'd interpret it..
But who the hell it could be.. no clue [owell] Gonna make a quick search..

...who the hell is Bill Brilmayer [:/] ...

...damn.
Well, guess we'll have to wait for those money people to update us some more (again [v] )
Hm, when actually did you get that mail?

I got that email few days ago, kikkum and Bill Braymayer is the manager of Chips and Bits products, I think [moder]
Also I have some crappy news, when I emailed Elsewhere about this Yves said that as far as he knew, what Chips and Bits said was false [:(]

Well I don't know who to trust anymore.. everything could still happen but it seems we have nothing to say in it. I mean, what if Braymayer was given this info to keep it secret or something.. well I don't really see it that positively, but who knows. Appeal has made a great game that deserves a sequel.. I'm sure someday someone who can make it real will realise that..

I don't know, but couldn't that be a good sign? I mean, if they sold the license or summin an all, wouldn't they have to take the site off? Hrm.. [constern]
