windows xp problems

I cannot run outcast game under windows xp. the installation goes ok, but whenever start the game - nothing happens. i've installed the latest patch - nothing. i've tried the "compatibility wizard" as suggested by microsoft. but nothing.
what else can be done??

please help.

Download this, copy in one in the directory Outcast and start the game from this loader, not starting from the icone of desktop.
