Music way too loud!! Help!

I have a problem with the music volume.
No matter how i set the balance its way too loud.
It drowns out the conversations.
Can anyone help me???

Well the music is played directly from the CD so you can try the following:
In windows open up Sound options and reduce CD-Audio volume.

I tried that but unfortunately it didn't work.
I wonder if editing the ini files might help.....
